I’m a photographer based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, but I love to get out and about to take fabulous photographs, so wherever you choose to get married and whoever you choose to get married to, I’ll be there with my inimitable style of wedding photography. If you’ll have me.
I’m saying it again, but I’m so lucky to be a wedding photographer. I literally get the best seat in the house! And you know you’re in safe hands when I’m the recommended go-to from such classy establishments as Waterton Park Hotel, Oulton Hall, Peckforton Castle, Nunsmere Hall, Dimple Well Lodge, Kings Croft and Thorpe Park Hotel, to name just a few. I also love an international wedding. Mind, who doesn’t? A perfect opportunity to get even more creative with the camera.
I love to take candid, but fun, emotional yet unobtrusive, beautiful portraits of your special day. I can give a little, gentle direction if you wish, but ultimately, the camera tells the story. We make a great team.
By the way, I didn’t start out as a wedding photographer. It happened by accident. I was asked to photograph a friend’s wedding, well over a decade ago now. The outcome was nothing short of amazing. I was hooked. You’ll have to ask me about my previous career – if you can guess it, I’ll buy you a beer!

We are pleased to be able to offer a lighter, more budget friendly video option for your wedding day. Couples may not be able to stretch their budgets far enough for full length feature wedding films, but would like video footage from their day, so here it is. The video can be extended and also full speeches, ceremony and first dance can be added
Captured by another member of my team. This is only available as an add-on to photography.
Wedding Albums
As time moves on, more and more couples prefer their wedding photographs to be provided digitally, so they can print or store them as they wish. However, I, for one, love to sit down with my own photograph albums – be that our wedding or holidays- and flick through the pages, reminiscing.
I feel that a photograph album, something you can touch, has so much more meaning to it, versus looking at photos on your phone or your laptop. It’s a very different experience.
Also, actual photographs look so much better in print, than on perhaps a sub-standard mobile or computer.

I solely focus on wedding photography. The reason for this is because I want to have all the answers for when things don’t go right, and also that each and every thought I have when I hold my camera is wedding specific.
90% of my wedding photographs are natural, the rest are formal group photos as well as newlywed photography. I focus on capturing the natural and beautiful reactions that happen throughout the wedding day.
Newlyweds tend to dislike posing for the camera – however, my newlywed photos ensure that posing is very, very simple and easy. Check out my wedding portfolio for examples!
I like to think that I’m a people-person and bring out the best attributes in everyone, so a lot of the time, forced posing is unnecessary.
All your wedding photography will be made available to download through a password-protected link for you to view and download as often as you wish.
The gallery has the ability to professionally print your photos, at extra cost.
With the full-day package, I will arrive 2 hours before the ceremony to photograph the bridal party getting ready.
I’ll be there throughout the rest of the day, right into the evening to make sure the first dance is recorded!
My job, without a doubt, is to capture your wedding day in stunning photographs. I shoot in a unique, fun, and approachable way. Newlywed photos take around 20 minutes. I am a big believer in getting around 10 amazing photographs of you and then letting you get back to enjoy your wedding party. I will not take you away for longer than needed. The posing will be very light and easy. The last thing I want is for couples to feel awkward.
Shooting from a distance when needed, but also getting into the mix of things where appropriate. It is this approach that has made me not only award-winning but highly sought after. Shooting 80+ weddings a year.
On occasion, I’ve been invited to shoot overseas weddings too, how exciting!
I am pleased to be able to offer a lighter, more budget friendly highlights video. I don’t shoot the video, it is done by a member of my staff who has worked with me for a number of years now. Don’t worry, its not cringey, its all shot at the same time as me meaning it has zero impact on the timings of the day.
A video is a fantastic way to capture a live snapshot of your wedding and enhance the photos. It doesn’t have any impact on your day. We’ll be there, recording in the background, then we’ll edit it to provide you with a 5-minute video. Clips from the day will include copyright-free music.
£200 booking fee/deposit with the remainder due 2 calendar months ahead of the big day.
This fee is to cover our setup costs and is non-refundable.
I would travel anywhere – From Cornwall and North Wales to Northumberland and the Lake District – no where is too far! I also travel across Europe for weddings
